Pingspace Robotics is founded in 2018 and backed by Pentamaster Corp. The company enable warehosue automation via its in-house developed robotics system. Apart from robotics system, the company also offers customized warehouse management system to their clients.

Sr. Software Engineer | Jan 2022 - Present

An exciting role which chances me the opportunity to lead and excel with a team of 4.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross functional teams to design and develop software applications that meets project's requirements.
• Coordinate team to ensure successful product feature delivery in a quality manner.
• Participate in code review, ocassionally set up pair programming sessions with jurniors to ensure quality of code and promote knowledge sharing within the team.
• Lead documentation standards within the team to ensure that information is of high quality and facilitates effective onboarding.

Achievements:

• Revamped legacy codebase to increase performance and greatly reduced error rate from average one issue per week to nearly 99% error free since then.
• Standardize how team should collaborate, including adopting SCRUM, setting up templates for PRs and issues, code review, CI/CD pipeline to automate tests and offload repetitive tasks to automation process to increase productivity and reduce human error.

Software Engineer | June 2020 - Dec 2021

A full backend role that enable me to work on multiple projects of different nature range from warehouse management to E-Commerce marketplace.

Responsibilities:

• Building APIs that facilitates business requirements.
• Work closely with frontend engineers and desingers to understand how I could push the product to possible from backend perspective.
• Write tests to ensure quality of code.
• Draft SDLC related documents such like ERD, use-case diagrams, flow charts and APIs documentation to facilitates collaboration across project team.

Achievements:

• Develop and maintain the company's very first version of warehouse management system.
• Participate in a E-Commerce system development project, owned modules including users, products, orders. (Project scraped due to business unit closed down)
